Social Security and Medicare planning can be complicated. You’re not alone if you feel that way. This in person class is a dynamic educational opportunity to help you lay a solid foundation for solutions that work for you and your personal circumstances. In this two-part presentation you'll first learn why the Social Security filing decision is the choice of a lifetime and why your filing decision matters. Next, we’ll get into some of the basic benefits you’re going to want to know about Social Security. We’re going to talk about survivor benefits and the rules for spouses, divorcees, etc., and we’ll review recent filing rule changes and implications to filing strategies and how to optimize Social Security income for your specific needs.
The second part of the presentation will focus on one of the primary concerns of my clients as they consider their post-employment finances. We will examine how you can place the health care expense question into your overall retirement plan and understand the importance of planning for health care-related expenses in retirement along with the options available to you to address and manage your health care expense risk.
This is sure to be a fun and educational event!
